Utility Design
We offer value engineered "Applicant Design" services for electric line extensions, electric service extensions, and telephone fiber-optic systems. In the recent past, our design services have been utilized for residential, multi-family, commercial, and retail developments. The primary benefit to the "Applicant Design" system is the control and flexibility that you (the applicant) gains by hiring a 3rd party to complete your public utility designs. Revisions can be made quickly and be efficiently expedited to your different team members so everyone involved stays in the loop.

Dry Utility Cost Estimating
We will prepare a comprehensive cost estimate based on the regional conditions that affect your particular project. We utilize current contractor unit pricing so your estimate reflects real world conditions. We will calculate utility fees including refundable, non-refundable, and reimbursable amounts. We will estimate costs for streetlights and advanced energy fees. We will determine estimated contractor charges for trench, conduit, and substructures. And, we'll compile it all in a detailed report for your review.
|
Utility Refund Tracking and Management
We prepare a spreadsheet report of anticipated refunds per utility work order. Then we follow up until you receive your money. We'll provide quarterly or semi-annual reports as needed to keep you updated.

Project Management
A typical consulting and management project includes the following: Planning, scheduling and coordination of a dry utility line extension for new business (residential or commercial). Additionally most projects typically include: a request for service submittal, preliminary design review and processing, final design review and processing, preparation of a crossing exhibit, contractor bid documents, review and processing of final utility contracts/right-of-way documents, and a pre-trench meeting. This list will vary from project to project. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs.

Specialty Exhibits
Conflict exhibits, lot disclosure exhibits, street crossing exhibits. We utilize approved dry utility and civil designs to compile "overlay" exhibits for use as reference tools. Contact us if you have a special project in mind. We think outside the box and often come up with exhibits for specialty purposes for our clients.
